William Vail Applegate Jr. (“Bill”)

William Vail Applegate Jr., affectionately known as Bill, passed away on July 1, 2024. Born on December 1, 1936, Bill was a beloved uncle and friend to many.

Bill is survived by his nieces and nephews: Heather Applegate Leventry, John Richard Applegate Jr., Courtney Applegate, Desire Ukstins, Cristine Manley, William “Billy" Runo, and Michael Runo. He was fondly known as “Uncle Billy” to his family.

Bill had a lifelong passion for football. He played during his high school years at Boonton High School, where he made many cherished memories and lifelong friends.
