Susan passed away in home hospice on Feb. 1st after a twelve year battle with cancer. She was the beloved daughter of the late George and Mildred Angstadt. Sue was born in Philadelphia on June 19, 1951 and was a graduate of Frankford High School and Penn State University. She taught at Paul Dunbar Elementary school in Phila then later worked for Prudential Insurance and has lived in Rockledge, PA for 40+ years.

Married for 44 years to her husband John . Loving mother to three children, sons Michael (Kristin Wagner), Kevin, daughter Janet and grandson Christopher. Sue is also survived by sister Lynn Russo and husband Lou as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Sue enjoyed summer trips to Ocean City, NJ, reading mystery novels, gardening and was a prodigious crocheter. But she enjoyed nothing more than being a grandmother. Her steadfast love and devotion to her grandson Christopher is credited by the family for giving Sue the strength to keep fighting for so many years.

Sue was a selfless daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and her kindness and generosity of spirit touched everyone that had the pleasure to know her.

As per Susan’s wishes no viewing or funeral will be held but a memorial service/life celebration will beplanned in the future.
