Sean L. Rockett, a loving husband, devoted father, cherished son, brother, and friend embarked on his final journey to rest on April 17, 2025, after a brave one-year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Born on December 30, 1971, Sean consistently demonstrated an unwavering spirit and resilience, never allowing his illness to overshadow his love for life and his family.
A graduate of CB West, Sean forged a successful career as a landscaper, passionately managing his own business and cultivating not just lawns but meaningful connections with each of his customers. His easy-going nature and infectious humor made it easy for him to relate to anyone he met. Sean's unique ability to connect with people was unmatched, and he embraced life with an attitude that everything would work out.
Sean was a man who adored his family above all else. He loved spending quality time with his wife, Jill, and their two children, Tyler and Mia. Some of their fondest memories center around joyous trips to the beach, playful afternoons in the backyard, and endless fun with their beloved dogs. His ability to embrace each moment and fill it with love and laughter made every outing an adventure worth remembering.
An avid sports enthusiast, Sean wore his heart on his sleeve when it came to his favorite teams, proudly supporting the Philadelphia Eagles. The last game he watched was a triumphant moment for him, as he celebrated the Eagles winning the Super Bowl—a memory he relished with his family and friends. Sean loved connecting with people, whether it was sharing stories, playing horseshoes with friends, or engaging in conversations with anyone willing to talk.
Throughout his battle with leukemia, Sean remained an inspiration to those around him. He faced every challenge with an unwavering spirit and attitude never once complaining about the trials he endured. His strength in the face of adversity was a testament to the love he had for his family, fighting until the very end to be with them.
He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and resilience. Sean is survived by his wife, Jill; children, Tyler and Mia; mother, Joanne Musial; father, Richard Rockett; step-mother, Patti Rockett; brothers, Richard and Brian Rockett; and countless friends and acquaintances who were fortunate enough to know him.
He was eagerly met in the next life by those who have gone before him, including his dad, Ted Musial; sister, Tracey Musial; and his brother, Michael Rockett; all now watching over him.
Sean will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered for his bright spirit, generous heart, and the joy he brought into the lives of everyone he encountered. As we celebrate his life, we do so with heavy hearts and cherished memories, knowing he is now at peace.
