Peter J. Emery

Peter John Emery passed away at home on January 24, 2025. He was the first-born son of Joseph Emery and Joan (Collins) Emery on September 20, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lynn and Joanie.

He is survived by his siblings, Michael, Patricia, Paul, and Richard Emery. Peter is the father of Kevin, Megan, Katherine, Anne and Maire Emery. He was a loving PopPop to Hailey Elizabeth Sterner. 

Peter graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. He worked for many years as a Critical Care Unit and Burn Unit Nurse at St. Agnes Hospital and Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. He loved James Bond movies, and his Irish heritage, especially Irish music and Ceili dance.

A devout Roman Catholic and daily communicant, Peter attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Penndel, PA. His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 11am., in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 225 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047.
