Patricia Marie (Gray) Stecklein

Patricia Marie (Gray) Stecklein of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, January 17, 2025. The closure of a life of laughter, love, and joy, her last moments were surrounded by the voices of her loved ones, a community she created with the love of her life, John Lee Stecklein Jr.

Beautiful is a life when you respond to many names. Pat accumulated many titles throughout her 85 years:

Cherished daughter of Robert & Marie Gray (deceased).

Proud sister of Eileen (Gray) Cox (deceased), Robert Gray (deceased), Kenneth Gray (deceased), and Jerry Gray.

Beloved wife of John Lee Stecklein Jr. (deceased).

Loving mother of John Patrick Stecklein (deceased, husband of Sue Greenfield Stecklein), Robert Gerald Stecklein (husband of Renae Curry Stecklein), Michael Gerald Stecklein, and Lisa Geralyn Stecklein.

Devoted grandmother (aka “Gram”) of Sharon Stecklein Tatninov (wife of David Tatninov), John Stecklein Jr. (husband of Rebekka Martinelli Stecklein), Kathleen Stecklein, Lindsay Stecklein (engaged to Jason Salinas), Ryan Stecklein (engaged to Sierra Gwalthney), and Shaun Stecklein.

Admiring great-grandmother (or “Gigi”) of Alyssa Tatninov, Lily Stecklein, Eleanor Stecklein, David Tatninov and Caroline Stecklein.

Friend to many throughout all stages of her life

Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 22, 1939, Pat lived in South Philly & Darby before moving to Northeast Philadelphia to raise her family and ended up in Warminster for the last 24 years.  Pat lived passionately and exuberantly. Pat loved to travel and to create.

A world traveler, she visited 49/50 states with her husband John and traveled through Europe with family and friends.  A skilled seamstress, she designed her own outfits, as well as clothing, dresses and gowns including her daughter Lisa’s prom dresses and Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. A fervent crafter, making pieces that friends and family still cherish and value to this day. Pat continued to craft through her 80s with her family and friends.

Pat’s signature laugh and bright smile will continue to live on in our hearts.
