Nicholas Lonesky

Retired USAF Staff Sgt. Nicholas (Nick) Lonesky passed away Thursday August 15th, 2024 in Abington Hospital, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born June 29th,1936 in Blandburg, Pa to the late Nicholas Lonesky and Mary Zayoc Lonesky. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Frank, Theresa, Anna, Mary, Walter, Joseph, Charles, Michael, John, Katherine, Rose, Helen, Christinia; and his granddaughter Amy.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Louise Florence Lonesky (nee Jester); his 3 children; his 7 grandchildren; his 8 great grandchildren and his siblings: James and Stella.

In honor of his 20 years of active duty military service to his country, he is being interred at Washington Crossing National Cemetary in Bucks County, PA.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Willow Grove Baptist Church, 3600 Welsh Road, Willow Grove PA 19090. Family and friends will be received from 2pm until his Celebration of Life Service at 3pm. Lunch will follow in Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests to make a donation to your local animal shelter in Nick's name for his love of dogs.
