Michael John Cadman
A devoted, generous, beautiful, humorous and kind-hearted father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin, and friend. A soul that brought all his loved one’s light, laughter and joy – with his presence, in every memory, moment, and conversation. Michael, a loving father to Ashley Ann Cadman and Autumn Lynne Cadman, laid his head to rest for the very last time, January 8th, 2025, in Ottsville, Pennsylvania. His daughters as well as Autumn’s fiancé Joshua Scott McCann and grandchildren; Jordan Michael Cadman, and Isaiah Joseph Lamica were bedside as he took his last breath, peacefully, and without pain.
Michael was born in Patterson, New Jersey, on March 20th, 1969, to his beloved mother Sharon Stenger and his father, Jeffery Alan Cadman. Michael shared his childhood and made many memories with his brothers and sister that he adored dearly, Andrew and Julie Cadman, Benjamin and Michelle Cadman, Amy Cadman, and Jeffery Cadman Jr.
He shared many years of loving and caring for Jennifer Lynne Shoemaker, once his wife and forever a friend and the mother of his children. Others in Michael’s life that brought him great joy were his grandparents, George and Helen Geiges, and their daughter, Michael’s stepmother, Kathy Geiges.
Michael had many close friends that he considered family - sharing hobbies, laughter and much joy, including Donald Lindquist and Karen Tempelmann, Timothy and Franchesta Benton, Daniel William and Megan Elizabeth Spencer, and John Dowling.
Michael finished high school and spent over 35 years in the flooring industry to provide a healthy life for his family. He enjoyed his time outdoors – fishing (his favorite), camping with bonfires, hiking, biking, and more. Michael was an avid bowler, scoring ‘at least a handful’ of perfect games. Michael’s creative nature was expressed through his love for woodworking, drawing, photography, and building model airplanes.
Michael’s favorite places to gather were wherever family had gathered but especially if they were up at his beloved spot in the Pocono Mountains together. His jokes, smiles and laughter that created so many memories will be cherished and missed by many.
May Michael rest in heavenly peace, in the arms of His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Michael’s spirit will shine bright with every star, sunrise, and sunset – something his family will look for in times of remembrance of their beloved father, son, family member, and friend. As Michael would say, “Until next time…”
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks all donations go to the Doylestown Hospital In-Home Hospice Care, and the Alliance Cancer Specialists and their entire team of nurses and social workers.
