Melodie Kimble, 70, of Quakertown, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Born in Coaldale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernice Noble and Robert Koch. She was a 1971 graduate of Hatboro - Horsham High School. Over the years, she worked at Johnson & Johnson, Morphetek and Teva before retiring in 2020.
Melodie was a Disney fanatic. She instilled her love of Disney in her sons, David and Eric. Melodie loved cruising with Disney Cruise Line. She sailed on every Disney Ship and was a Platinum Castaway Cay Member. Melodie met many wonderful friends while on her cruises and stayed close with them throughout the years. She also enjoyed visiting the Disney theme parks with her family. When there was breaking Disney news, Melodie would happily share it with everyone.
Melodie adored her family. She was the most selfless person you could ever meet. She came to every dance recital and sporting event (rain or shine), or watched it on a live stream if she couldn’t be there in person. Whenever there was a holiday or a birthday party, she was the first to arrive regardless of how far the drive was. Melodie was a wonderful baker. Her family enjoyed her homemade apple pies, pumpkin pies, and chocolate chip cookies during the holidays.
She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. If there was a Phillies or Eagles game on TV, she would be watching it. Melodie enjoyed scrapbooking and creating beautiful memories for her family.
Melodie cherished her grandchildren, Emily, Evelyn and Ryker. She loved watching them play together, whether it was at the McDonald’s Playland, a playground, or at her house. She was an amazing Grams/Meemaw and the three will miss her dearly.
Surviving her are her sons, David and his wife, Amy, and Eric. Her Grandchildren, Emily, Evelyn and Ryker. Her siblings: Bernard Koch, Cheryl Milnazik (Jeff), Tracee Ferraro (Bob) and sister in Law, Lorraine Koch. Nieces: Sunshine Silenzi, Krissy Milnazik, Kieran Koch-Laskowski, and Alyssa Ferraro. Nephews: Jason Koch, Derek Koch, Jesse Koch-Laskowski, Jeffrey Milnazik, Jacob Milnazik and Joe Ferraro. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and her beloved chiweenie, Minnie. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Barry Koch.
Family will receive visitors on Friday, May 31st from 12 – 1 pm at Palz Tap House in Huntington Valley, PA, with a private service to follow.
