Joseph F. Searles, Sr.

Joseph F. Searles Sr. peacefully passed away on November 13th surrounded by family at his home in Neshaminy Falls. He is preceded in death by his son Joseph F. Searles Jr and is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joan Searles (Graham) and three children Kenneth (Karen), Michael (Lisa), and Maureen (Robert). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. 

Joe was born in 1934 in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, where he developed his love of baseball and was a skilled player. He worked various jobs before working for 32 years at the Philadelphia Gas Works, retiring as a pipe fitter. 

In retirement, Joe enjoyed golfing with his buddies and taking group trips and cruises with friends from Neshaminy Falls. He also took great pride in the accomplishments of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

A celebration of Joe's life will be Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Talking Teacup from 12pm-4pm.The address is 301 W. Butler Avenue, Chalfont PA 18914. Food and beverages will be offered.  There is parking on the premise as well as the shopping center across the street on Skyline Drive.

This is an open house gathering and all are welcome.
