G. Keith Wiley

G. Keith Wiley, 92 years old, of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, passed away at home on July 7, 2023.

Keith was born on September 23, 1930 at the Doylestown Hospital, which was then located at Oakland Avenue, Doylestown, PA. He graduated from Doylestown Borough School, in June of 1948.

Keith married Barbara J. Gray on December 22, 1951.  They were married 71 years.

Keith entered the United States Army in January of 1952, and he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal for injuries he suffered during the Korean War.

Keith began his career at the Doylestown Post Office working as a rural postal carrier, and he retired after 35 years of service as the postmaster of Lansdale, Pennsylvania in 1987.

Keith was the loving father of two sons, Richard K. Wiley, who passed away in 2010 and David B. Wiley who passed away in 2017.

Keith was the devoted grandfather of Stephanie Wiley of York, PA, and Christopher Wiley and his wife Elisa, of Pottstown, PA, and the great grandfather of Madisyn and Jackson McCleary, of York, PA.

Keith spent many hours making beautiful pieces of wooden furniture, toys and decorations.  He also loved spending time in his many gardens.

Services and interment will be held privately.
