Gisela Agnes Leair, known as Oma, was born on August 4, 1966, at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA. She unexpectedly passed away at her home on June 4, 2024, at the age of 57.
Gisela is survived by her sister and husband, Belinda and Michael; her nephew, Ian; her niece Ava; her daughter and son-in-law, Areka and John; her son, Zackary; her grandchildren, Olivia, Brooke, Belle, and Landon; and her boyfriend, Jim.
A proud graduate of Neshaminy High School, Class of 1984, Gisela held dear memories of her time in the marching band referring to herself as a “bando” and passionately supported her home team. Following the start of her family, Gisela pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, earning an LPN degree despite the challenges of balancing family life, and raising two young children. Becoming an Oma brought immeasurable joy into her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, showering them with love and affection.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Gisela bravely served as an essential worker, recognizing the vital role she played in caring for the sick. In her final years, she found comfort in tending to her home and watching the beautiful butterflies land in her garden.
A memorial service to celebrate Gisela's life will be held on Sunday, June 23rd, from 4-6 pm at 957 Poplar Street, Langhorne. All who knew and loved Gisela are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
