Frances Elaine Gambino, 59 of Ambler, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly after a short illness in Abington Hospital on October 13, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones

Franny was the companion and soulmate for almost 30 years to Daniel Harland, also of Ambler.

Franny was born January 10, 1964 in Abington, Pennsylvania to Patricia Dillon, (John) and the late William H. Erhardt Jr. of Ambler.

Fran lived and raised her children in Ambler. Franny was the most loving, caring and devoted mother of; Michael J. Gambino of Sellersville, Nicole F. Gambino (Angel Gonzalez) of Glenside and Kara Harland (Nicholas Fabiani) of San Diego.

Franny had six sisters, Lorie Kelvy (Dave), Edie Erhardt, Charlene Macdonald (John), Missy Erhardt-Stull (Jon) , Terri Erhardt and Sheri Moscardelli (Ray).

Franny was a big kid and enjoyed playing with, teaching, watching, feeding and helped to raise her many nieces and nephews; Johnny MacDonald, Lindsay Lee (MacDonald), Matthew, Tyler and  Jeffrey Kelvy, Bobby and  Elizabeth Saldutti, Tristin Schuette, Lilly Talese and Billy Stull.

Franny adored her four grandsons, James, Jackson, Gabriel and Kameron.

Anyone who knew her would say she was strong, fierce and had the biggest heart and would give you the shirt off her back. She brought light and laughter into a room with her infectious laughter and big smile regardless of how she felt.

Franny loved to cook and take care of people. She had an answer for everything. She was a hard worker her whole life until the end. Most her life she worked at Riches Deli and Riches Other Place. In her spare time, if when she wasn’t making food for someone she was relaxing in the sun at the pool with her family.

Franny was preceded in death by her father, William H. Erhardt, her husband, Christopher J. Gambino and her son, Christopher William Gambino.

A service of remembrance and celebration of her life will be held in the summer of 2024 and will be announced at a later date.
