Ethel W. Sullivan

Ethel (Beattie) W. Sullivan, 87, of Horsham, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2023 surrounded by her family. Ethel was born on June 16, 1936 to the late Franklin Beattie and late Sadie Beattie (Herstine) in Horsham, Pennsylvania. After graduating Hatboro-Horsham High School in 1954, she attended Bookkeeping School. Ethel was predeceased by her brother Jack Beattie and sister Elaine Beattie (Vollmer).

Ethel Sullivan was the beloved wife to the late John (Jack) Sullivan. They married in Horsham, Pennsylvania on January 28th, 1956 and together had four children, the late John, Bruce, the late Jacqueline Ann and Cathy.

Ethel is survived by her Son Bruce Sullivan (Diane), and Daughter Cathy Saxon (Joe); ten Grandchildren, Dan Sullivan (Pamela), Kasey Moller (Benjamin), Kristen Guirate (Kevin), Kaitlyn Gerth (Drew), Brianna Kelly, Megan Bonner-Saxon (Samantha), Matthew Saxon, Emily Saxon and Georgianna Saxon; six Great Grandchildren, Natalie, Lacey, Lucia, Jakson, Cole and Brynlee. She was preceded in death by her Mother; Sadie Beattie, Father; Franklin Beattie, Brother; Jack Beattie, Sister; Elaine (Beattie) Vollmer, Son; John Sullivan, Daughter; Jacqueline Ann (Sullivan) Kelly (Luke Kelly) and Granddaughter; Nicole.

She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother and loved her family dearly. Ethel was a member of Warminster Presbyterian where she attended services for many years. Her smile, love and humor will be missed by all that knew her.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service, Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery located at 830 Highland Road, Newtown PA 18940. Please assemble in the parking line at the cemetery by 8:45 am, services will begin promptly at 9:00 am.
