Anna Mary Maurone

Anna (Nancy) Maurone of the Ann’s Choice Community in Warminster, PA, died on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Nancy was 92 years young. She was born on November 6, 1932, raised in South Philadelphia, and was the daughter of the late Kathleen Shirley.

 Nancy was the wife of the late Angelo J. Maurone, mother of Angelo M. Maurone (Laurene), Kathleen Hertzog (Mark), and Raymond Maurone (Joann). Grandmother to Jennifer, Heather, Angela, Sarah, Philip, Anna, Elizabeth, Nicole, Christine and Katie. Great Grandmother to 18 beautiful children.

 Nancy loved her family above all else. She was a homemaker most of her life, raised her children in Warminster, and focused on her children and then her grandchildren all her life. All the cousins have fond memories of gathering at Grandmom’s on Sunday afternoons for an Italian dinner of pasta and meatballs, the best you ever tasted! Nancy and Angelo spent many happy years as snowbirds in their Venice, Florida home. She also loved to go shopping at Ross or TJ’s always looking for a new top or treating one of her grandchildren or great grandchildren to something special. Another favorite past time of Nancy’s was going to the diner for breakfast. Warminster West was her favorite place having gone there for many years.

 At Nancy’s request, her service will be private with immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations can be made to the Hydrocephalus Association.
